This week will be another busy one!
Reminder that can you please send students in running shoes to school. We take many brain breaks throughout the day where we do exercises or run laps. We do not have time for students to change out of crocks or sandals into their shoes. Running shoes must be at school for our P.E. days.
REMINDER:
Spelling:  Spelling unit 4 this week.  Remember your child should do one page a day for homework.

Each spelling unit is due Friday morning  and we will have a short spelling quiz in the morning.
If students are absent on Monday morning it is their responsibility to get the spelling unit and return the work to the class.

In math we are learning all about numeration. The students are learning how to represent & rename numbers. We will be modelling numbers using base ten blocks. It is very important at this stage that students know place value (ones, tens & hundreds place).  Skip counting is a skill that is extremely beneficial for mental math & can easily be practiced at home. Skip count with your kids as you walk down the street: "Lets skip count by 3s! 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24....".
We will have a short math quiz on place value this week.

Show and Tell theme will be photos of family or pets.  Please no toys for show and tell.
