In Science we will be presenting our habitat project to parents on December 19th....this will be the first presentation (8:35 am to 9:25 am) for students so please mark it down on your calendar. Please return the notice of the Celebration of learning so I know how many parents are coming out. I also need the interim reports signed and returned ASAP.
Winter Concert-December 18th two performances one at 1 p.m. and an evening performance at 6 p.m.- Students can wear a white shirt/black pants or a nice dress...students can wear a red hat (Christmas).
A Reminder about Show & Tell
Show & Tell this week students are encouraged to bring one "mystery" item to share. Classmates will attempt to guess what the hidden item is by asking questions. Show and Tell items are encouraged to be "made" things, "science" things, "found" things or things related to the theme being studied at the time (TOYS ARE NOT ALLOWED). Pictures are a great way of sharing an event, family member or a pet (due to allergies NO real pets will be allowed in class). If your child is sick for his Show& Tell day, he/she will get to make up his missed day as soon as he/she returns to school. If your child forgets their Show& Tell day, he/she will be encouraged to share (Tell) about something as part of his turn. Children who forget will not be given the opportunity to "make up" Show & Tell.
Library Day is on Thursdays students will sign out books. Please bring library books back to the school so students are able to take out 4 books..
