Highlights for this week:
We will be starting Chapter 7 this week with Novel study. Students seem to be enjoying the characters in the novel.
In order for students (Gr. 4s) to fully understand division they need to have a good foundation with their knowledge of the multiplication facts. Students should know their multiplication tables up to 12x12 (Gr. 5s included). They will be tested individually over the next month. Grade 5s will continue with fractions (mixed, improper fractions).
We will continue with renewable and non-renewable resources assignment. Students have been working hard on getting assignments completed so I can mark them and get the results into the report cards. Speaking of report cards...they will be going home on March 14th...also parent/teacher interviews will be on March 27th.
