    The last full week of January and we have officially hit the halfway mark...if you were wondering....we are halfway through the school year at the end of Jan.  Time sure goes by when your having fun!
    Well this week is "Literacy week" and students will be reading everyday.  We have an anacronym called "DEAR"...drop everything and read.  There will be a notice going out Monday about what we will be doing later in the week (dressing up as a character...we will recite a poem to Mrs. Latta's class as well as Mrs. Sarrasin's class). They are also going to share with our class.      
    I know this is a week away but we do have skating on January 30th...leaving the school at 12:45 hopefully we can get the skates/helmuts/snowpants in either the Friday before the Monday (or Monday morning). I don't want to leave anyone in a panic...on the day!!
    This week we have new sight words...please continue practicing I do see improvements with students so keep up the great job!!

Tuesday, Jan.24-Gym day
Wednesday, Jan25-Return Over-due library books
 Thursday, Jan26-Library day
Friday, Jan. 27-Fine Arts with Ms. Gartrell and Sharing our poem with Mrs. Latta and Mrs. Sarrasin's class.
